A Highly Experiential Educational Model for Helping Professionals: Understanding and Addressing Trauma Physiology

We are pleased to offer a case consultation session in Somatic Experiencing® (SE) with Dr. Pedro Prado, a senior faculty member in SEP training. This session provides an opportunity for in-depth exploration and guidance in SE techniques and principles.

Venue: Online via Zoom (conducted in English)

What is Somatic Experiencing®?

Somatic Experiencing® (SE) is an evidence-based biopsychosocial modality that offers practical tools and interventions to address and resolve fixed neurophysiological states resulting from stress and trauma exposure. It aims to improve autonomic nervous system health, enhance resilience, and alleviate traumatic stress symptoms.

Dr. Pedro Prado, brings his expertise and extensive experience to this session. As a senior faculty member in SEP training, he is well-versed in the theory and practice of SE.

Fee:

• SE students: HKD$700 for a 3-hour session with 1 credit hour in case consultation.

• SE HK7 & HK6 students who have paid with credit can bring one guest free of charge. Please ensure that your guest fills out a separate submission of the Google Form.

• Other guests: HKD$500 for a 3-hour session.​

Early Bird Discount:

• For those who register and pay before April 15th, 2024, the fee is reduced to HKD$600 with 1 credit hour for SE students and HKD$400 for other guests.

Remarks:

1. If you are submitting a case, more information including the client's presenting issues and basic background information are required to submit to Pedro.

2. For HK7/HK 6, It is required to earn 6 credits with SEI faculty to complete your SEP. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to earn credits and progress in your SEP journey.
