We are the Focusing Certifying Coordinators(CCs) in The International Focusing Institute (TIFI), USA to organize and conduct Focusing Trainings in Hong Kong.

Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner

Rachel has over 15 years of experience in the field of Focusing.

 

Additionally, she holds a Master degree in Professional Counselling from the Olivet Nazarene University, USA and a Master degree of e-Commerce from the Open University of Hong Kong. 

This is an introductory program that leads to joining the Focusing Oriented Therapist (FOT) Certification Program.

Learn about Gendlin’s Six Steps of Focusing 
Explore your Felt Sense as a Focuser and gain personal experience
Familiar to “checking in” and "presence" during the Focusing process
Learning about how to be friendly to yourself in a Focusing way

Level 1B Listening

Learn about listening skills (e.g. Reflective and Summary Listening) in a Focusing way
DOs and DON’Ts of Focusing listening
Using focusing listening to practice Focusing partnership
Refine your listening skills

Others

*  Supervision hours for your focusing partnership with others
*  Five Reflection paper are required
*  Focusing practices

Helping professionals, caregivers, healthcare workers, social workers, individuals experiencing life stress, and those seeking a more fulfilling life.

Course format: 

Teaching, Demonstrations, experiential activities, and practice as the core components.

Tuition fee: 

HK$8,000

  • Early bird discount (three months before the class): HKD $6,800

  • Discounted tuition for two participants: HK$6,800 per person [Both individuals need to fill out separate registration forms and indicate the name of the accompanying person in the registration form.]

 

Class capacity: 

Small Group with limited seats providing an immersive and experiential learning experience.

Remarks:

  1.  No refund will be entertained before one month of the course start. Administration Fee of HK$1,000 will be applied.

  2. Thou Art Limited, as the organizer, reserves the right to cancel or postpone any scheduled training or part thereof. Enrolled students are eligible to receive a full refund of fees paid prior to the course commencement or on a pro rata basis after the course has commenced.

  3. Thou Art Limited reserves the right to terminate the enrollment of any student without providing a reason. Tuition fees will be refunded in full if the termination occurs before the course has commenced, or on a pro rata basis if it occurs after the course has started.
