Detail Descriptions:

Cherry started her career as an administrative worker, but she also had a passion for
counseling. She pursued a part-time counseling program to fulfill her dream. Approximately
12 years ago, she made the decision to change her career path. She began her counseling
career in Singapore for several years before returning to Hong Kong to work at NGO. Currently, she is in the process of starting her own private practice. Throughout her years of
experience, she has encountered clients with a wide range of issues, including children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families. Some of the significant issues she has dealt with
include parenting, mental health, relationships and developmental trauma. Additionally, she has conducted workshops and training in schools. At the start of her
counseling career, she believed that she could make a positive impact on people's lives. However, after all these years, she has come to recognize that it is the clients' persistent
behavior and determination to strive for better lives that truly impresses her. Cherry is trained in various modalities, including Family Therapy, Solution Focused Brief
Therapy, Emotional-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, and Bodynamic Somatic
Developmental Psychology. She applies these approaches to help her clients work on their
issues. Recently, she has developed a passion for incorporating somatic psychology
techniques in her clinical work and using them for her own personal growth. ​
